Very comfortable and great traction

adidas Mens Kanadia TR Running

adidas Mens Kanadia TR Running

I've owned a lot of athletic shoes over the years. I've been working out and running for about 20 years. I've had the best from Asics and New Balance... even Brooks. Asics 2100 series have always been my fallback(I've owned two pairs of Kayanos too be they just never felt better to me even though it was more expensive). I was happy with the high end New Balance runners I've owned as well. I always have different pairs of sneakers for running and other workouts(everyone should, as running shoes are designed for forward motion only and are not laterally stable). I put these on and went to the gym. I was working upper body(so lateral stability wasn't an issue) then jumped on the treadmill for a bit. These were super comfortable and very stable right away. I think they impressed me more on first wearing than any other sneaker I've owned. Enough so that when my training shoes wear out I'll look into Sauconys again.

  1. I bought these primarily for use while shooting outdoor USPSA matches. Conditions vary from grass to gravel to dirt and mud. These are light and comfortable for all day wear and provide great traction. In especially slippery conditions this weekend while others were slipping, I had excellent traction.
I am very happy with these.

  2. Just finished the Tough Mudder in SoCal and this shoe was absolutely phenomenal. We ran through 10 miles of water/mud/sand/gravel/you name it, and I never lost any traction. In fact, while most people were slipping and sliding all over the place, I was chugging up and down mountain slope with no problem. I did not even need to take them off, as they sealed off the little rocks pretty well (but not perfectly). All around - a great shoe with excellent traction and mud protection. If you need a shoe for Tough Mudder - look no further.

  3. These shoes are very quality. They grip well on everything. Lightweight. Sturdy construction. Comfortable form fitting! I will buy the same pair next time for sure!

  4. I have just brought my second pair or Kanadia trainers, had to throw away the last pair due to the extreme races and conditions I put them through. They were superb for very steep very muddy inclines, swamps and mud soaked trails Only thing is you need to go up at least half a size than you would normally wear. Recommended and good value compaired to the other high end brands such as inov8

  5. I was a bit skeptical of buying shoes online; especially running shoes because they wildly vary in fit, comfort (depending on the brand) and stability. I had grown attached to my Saucony and Nike Vomero fit, comfort and stability. I looked at the VERY helpful reviews and decided to take a chance. I am so very glad I did; these shoes are great! Right out of the box they `looked' stiff, but when I put them on (with no socks) I thought I heard my feet sigh `"ahhhhh'". When I put on socks they were even better. So lightweight and so comfortable I was able to run 5 miles first day; no pain during or after. No adjustment period needed! GREAT SHOES (Thanks for the reviews everybody!)

  6. Order 1 size larger! Shoe size is tight, so order larger, or wear without ANY socks! I now own two pair, but this Adidas Kanadia model is probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever bought

  7. I bought these for a new found interest in trail running. I've run with Saucaony on the road for 20 years but their trail running shoes were more expensive and I figured trail running was mostly about traction and support then padding. So far, they provide both. My only problem was that they look so good that I don't want to get them dirty.

  8. I wear these shoes daily for work. I am in the lawn care business and walk 5-8 hours a day and these are the only shoes I wear. Light, but durable, and great for walking. Just a heads up I always get atleast a half size bigger in these than my Nike's so size them bigger than usual.

  9. These shoes run a full size small. Once you get the right size they are a nice pair of kicks. This is my second pair of these shoes and they are great.

  10. The design is best suited for trails but performs well on pavement, maintaining stability on a variety of surfaces despite the excellent cleats on the bottom. Adidas rarely disappoints and this shoe is no exception.
