Lots of compliments

I workout in a Kettlebell gym regularly. Footwear here is either barefoot or shoes that are as close to bare as possible. My toes are sensitive so I opt for the latter.
Been using Vibram 5 fingers for the last 6 months. In the last week I have tried in addition to Fila Skeletoes 2.0, the Adidas Adipure Trainer and the Fila EZ Slide.
The 2.0's are the most comfortable and protective of the lot. The EZ Slides hurt the top of my feet, the Vibrams pinch my toes. The Adidas are a nice effort but the design and lack of velcro leaves the shoes disconnected from the whole movement of the body. I should add that visually the Vibrams are way more attractive than the rest especially the Komodo model. However, the pain is just not worth the Rock Star good looks.
The Skeletoes low price is a bonus, but even if they cost as much as the Vibrams, I would gladly buy them. Ordered a 2nd pair today in a shocking shade of chartreuse.

This shoe is really good looking and comfortable. I have used it in spinning class, to workout, to walk, and on a hike. I highly recommend it.

  2. The sole has good grip which is great for running on all terrain and for a clutsy person like me. I love the fact they keep my feet dry in this rainy weather. The shoes don't have an arch. For me its not a big deal but would have been nice.

  3. These shoes fit as expected and are very comfortable. I don't jog or hike a lot of rugged terrain; my walking is mostly done on a treadmill. But I use a treadmill 2-3 times a day and I have a monitor that rises so I'm on my feet a lot. I've got to have shoes that allow me to do this. These work perfectly. And I've gotten lots of complements on how cute these are. I wear nothing but walking shoes/sandals to work since having stints in my legs, so I try to fancy it up a bit and still be practical.
